Boho Britney
Someone who stayed with me growing up, was Britney Spears. She was pretty, had catchy tunes, could dance like nobody's business, and had her own Barbie doll with accompanying tour bus. She has grown up a lot since the days of ...Oops and Overprotected, but I like to revisit her old music and shoots partially for nostalgia, but also to remember to have a bit of an attitude in what I do and persevere.
One of my favorite shoots she did was back in 2001. It was really quite different from the loud bubblegum and faded aqua blue she made her own. This series of photographs is really right on trend at the moment, but is also timeless in a sense. It is very natural and light, and mixed with lace, greenery, and, of course, a little bit of skin. Everything about this shoot is perfect, down to Britney's makeup and hair. Hello, fairy princess!

Washington D.C.
Yesterday, the Freshman class at Moore took a day trip down to the National Gallery in D.C. I was there once a couple of years ago my Junior year of high school and really enjoyed it. This time around was a little more special because I saw a lot of things I have been studying. We also took a quick trip down to the Vietnam Memorial which was pretty powerful, as it was my first time seeing it. I got a lot of cool shots on the trip and have layer them out below!

Spring Fling
It's now officially Spring (thank God!), and the weather was nice and warm compared to what its been. I got outside for the first time this week after class last night and wandered up to Walnut Street and hit a couple of shops with my friend Sarah. I'm so glad this school week is over for me...it has been majorly stressful between having three big projects due in a range of four days, finishing knitting shawls for a Free People order, as well as a few other projects I'm doing independently. That being said, I haven't posted in a week which is unusual for me. Here are a few photos to kick off the warmer season. May there be no more snow!
