A Walk in the Woods
Yesterday I went for my first walk in the woods since one of the Winter storms a few months ago, and it really hit me that it's Spring. Everything is starting to bloom, and I saw a kind of wood pecker that I never knew existed. It was the size of my forearm. I went down by the stream and found the bones of a small animal scattered which I collected. My schnauzer, Sammy, who is the middle child in our family, was waiting for me when I came back. She is in desperate need of a haircut, and looks like a sheep haha! Back to the grind tonight as I continue to work on my finals while watching Hart of Dixie on Netflix, which I'm OBSESSED with. It's so addicting. Go watch it, and come talk to me! xo

Washington D.C.
Yesterday, the Freshman class at Moore took a day trip down to the National Gallery in D.C. I was there once a couple of years ago my Junior year of high school and really enjoyed it. This time around was a little more special because I saw a lot of things I have been studying. We also took a quick trip down to the Vietnam Memorial which was pretty powerful, as it was my first time seeing it. I got a lot of cool shots on the trip and have layer them out below!
