Let's Talk About: Spring Jewelry

I, personally, am not into typical jewelry from places like Tiffany's. I think it's pretty and all, but it's not really my taste, and not what gets me exited. I love unique brass and silver pieces that have beautiful stones and crystals, suede cord, and the occasional feather. Here are my picks for the upcoming season!

Warmer Weather Please

I'm so ready for Spring, and even more ready for Summer. I'm craving bikini shopping online, picking flowers to craft with, taking my dogs for walks without getting windburn on my face, and sandals...sorry boots, I love you, but I'm done. 

Transforming A Space

 It's really amazing to me how a space can transform with a few small changes. This past weekend, I picked up a few plants to line my dorm window over looking the city. I really hate the typical dorm look with bright geometric comforters and plastic everything... I like to make whatever space I'm living in like home. To me, that means adding plants, vintage crocheted lace details, and a couple of vintage side tables to get away from the cookie cutter dorm look. 

What To Wear This Spring

Here in Philly, we have had a couple of 50 degree days...the first ones in I don't even know how long. I can't remember anything pre-snow! The weather has me thinking about lace, pastels, the beach, and wandering around the city in my favorite beaten Birkenstocks. Get ready for crocheted lace, soft sandy colors, lots of florals, and the warm sun!

Sweet Pea

I had a LOT of fun hanging with some of my FP buds last week! We styled for hours and took lots of awesome shots in Building 3 at the Home Office. I also have a new project involving my dreamcatchers with Free People...so stay tuned...

I had been eyeing this Victorian lace dress all day, and finally got to prance around in it! It's got this 1960's-Michelle Phillips-mod vibe going on with the high neck and intricate lace everywhere. I definitely need to snatch it up before it sells out... I paired the dress with my favorite Anthro ankle boots that I got at the beginning of the season. ;) Get the look above!
